Pakistan will no longer import poor nature electronics after the Ministry of Science approved 61 standards for electronic items; it was learned on Thursday,

This was announced by Federal Minister for Science and Technology in a series of tweets, “As promised, the Ministry of Science has approved 61 standards for electronics items, the standards will be implemented after the cabinet approval,” said the minister.

“This means that colored switches, boards will not be imported and only standard electronics products will be sold in Pakistan,” he added.

The federal minister further said that the ministry will also upgrade the standard of cars and tractors, made in Pakistan in the next phase. “If we want to move forward, we have to create and practice standards,” he said.

He added that the Federal Minister of Industries and Production, Hammad Azhar has assured him of full cooperation in this regard, and urged that industry support is very important.

Earlier, the federal minister has said that the Ramazan moon will be sighted on April 24. In a tweet, Fawad Chaudhry said that Maulana Muneeb-ur-Rehman is respectable, but he does not see such a big moon, how can he see such a small coronavirus?

Fawad further wrote that he brought to the attention of the Ministry of Religious Affairs that if heads of its ministerial committee made fun of government orders, what could one expect from the masses?
