The total number of deaths in Sindh rose to 47 on Friday after the province reported two new deaths.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah's spokesperson Murtaza Wahab took to his official Twitter handle and announced the two new deaths in the province. The senator also announced 209 new coronavirus cases.
Sindh has so far conducted 21272 coronavirus tests out of which 2217 people have tested positive. "Five people have recovered from the disease during the past 24 hours," he tweeted. The total number of people recovered from the virus are 581.

The total of coronavirus cases in Pakistan are 7236, with the country reporting 137 deaths. 1765 patients have also recovered from the disease.
