It says the police, the Rangers and the Pakistan Army are requested to cordon off sectors I-10/1 and I-10/4 to ensure public safety.
Assistant Commissioner Ghuhar Zaman told Business Recorder the administration had sealed both the sectors and banned entry and exit of people from the area.
Earlier, following the outbreak of coronavirus, the administration had sealed Bhara Kahu, Shehzad Town and some other areas.
The authorities de-sealed these areas after complete screening of people in these areas.
According to officials, coronavirus has been spread in most of the urban and rural areas of the city including various residential sectors including sectors G-6,5,10,7,9,13,12,14; sectors F-6,8,10,15; sectors I-8,10,9,12,14,11; E-11 as well as Bhara Kahu, Tarlai, Shah Allah Ditta, Sohan, Kirpa, Khana Pul, Koral, Model Town, Humak, Pindbewal, Rawal Town, and Sihala.
In the capital, so far 36 people have recovered and four have died.
Bhara Kahu, Tarlai and I-10 are the capital's Covid-19 hotspots, the officials said, with 32, 31 and 30 cases reported from these areas, respectively.
Meanwhile, the capital city witnessed another biggest jump in Covid-19 cases in a single day, after 52 more cases were reported in the city.
The total number of Covid-19 cases in the city is now 313. So far, 44 people have recovered and four have died following the outbreak of coronavirus.
With the rise of Covid-19 in the federal capital, the tally of Covid-19 infections has reached 15,759.
