The organisation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in federal capital has entered the next phase and the governing body of NA-53 sub-district of Islamabad region has been formally announced on Saturday.
Ahmed Khan has been appointed PTI president district NA-53 Islamabad, while Abdul Manan has been appointed general secretary.
A meeting of PTI governing body for NA-53 Islamabad region was held with its regional president Farid Rehman in the chair, attended by Islamabad chapter's general secretary Chaudhry Ilyas Mehraban and others. The meeting reached consensus on various names for organisational responsibilities in District NA-53 and after the approval of PTI chief organizer Saifullah Khan Nyazee, the members of the district governing body were announced.
Mehraban issued a formal notification of formation of district governing body, according to which Ahmad Khan was appointed president PTI district NA-53 Islamabad, while Abdul Manan will serve as general secretary.
According to the notification, Engr Zahid Mahmood has been given the responsibility of district secretary information, and Chaudhry Muhammad Kabir has been given the responsibility of district secretary finance.
Raja Nadeem Abbasi has been appointed as district senior vice president while Imran Shah and Babar Murtaza Awan have been appointed as district vice presidents. Raja Latif, Chaudhry Abdul Sattar, Raja Abdul Majeed, Rehmatullah and Khalid Wazir have been added to district governing body as joint secretaries.
