Several stranded Pakistanis who were repatriated from UAE amid coronavirus crisis have have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
The health department on Monday confirmed that 100 passengers out of 200 have tested positive for COVID-19. On their return on April 28, all passengers were quarantined. Upon testing them, 100 have been infected, the department said.
The infected have been shifted to Fatima JinnahUuniversity, which has been converted into a quarantine centre, local media reported.
