The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has announced to conduct various professional examinations including MBBS, BDS and M.Phil exams from May 13. These exams were earlier postponed in March this year due to coronavirus pandemic.
The decision was taken in a faculty meeting chaired by the UHS vice-chancellor Prof Javed Akram, here Wednesday.
The meeting decided that all the examination would be conducted as per the standard operating procedures (SOPs) that were framed in the wake of Covid-19.
The examinations that will commence on May 13 include: fourth professional MBBS and fourth professional BDS supplementary examination 2019, final professional DPT annual examination 2019, M.Phil (Primary & Final) old scheme annual examination 2020, M.Phil Part-I (PU scheme) supplementary examination 2019 for Federal Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore.
The M.Phil (Primary & Final) revised scheme annual examination 2020, which will be conducted on May 14. M.Phil in basic dental sciences revised scheme annual examination 2020, and M.Phil in medical laboratory sciences (first and second year) annual examination 2019, will commence on May 15.
Final professional MBBS supplementary examination 2019, will commence on June 01. First professional MBBS supplementary examination 2019 and first professional BDS supplementary examination 2019, will start from June 02.
