The lockdown in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been lifted, after which all markets and shops have been reopened and a notification has been issued.
According to a statement issued by the relief department, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has given permission to open all the shops in the second phase. The markets will be open four days a week while it will be closed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The shops will be open till 4 pm following the relevant SOPs.
According to the statement, an order has been issued to open sanitary, paint, steel, and aluminum works and hardware stores related to the construction industry, while factories and mills not included in the negative list have also been allowed to open.
However, the closure of public transport will continue. Meetings will soon be held at the provincial and divisional levels to decide on the restoration of transport.
