Balochistan Finance Minister Zahoor Buledi has tested positive for coronavirus.

In a tweet on Wednesday, the finance minister announced that he has contracted coronavirus and he is asymptomatic.

"I’m in self-quarantine as per doctors guidelines. Alhamdulillah, asymptomatic and recovering," Buledi tweeted. He is the first minister in Balochistan to have contracted COVID-19.

Balochistan has so far recorded 2239 coronavirus cases and 27 deaths.
