Pemra asked to file reply by June 17

The Lahore High Court on Thursday sought a reply from Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) by June 17 and suspended the operation of its notification about suspension of Neo TV channel's license.

Last week, the Supreme Court had restrained the Pemra from taking any coercive measure against the channel for a period of 15 days until the channel challenged virus of the regulations of the authority before a high court.
