Sindh reported on Friday its highest number of coronavirus deaths in a single day after 31 people lost their lives to the novel virus.
Giving his daily coronavirus update, Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah said in the past 24 hours, 31 patients lost their battle to the virus. The death toll in Sindh has reached 427, the CM said. He said 308 patients are in critical condition, while 52 are on ventilators.
"In the past 24 hours, 1563 people have also recovered from the virus, which is the highest recoveries in a single day in the province," Shah said.

Speaking about the cases, the CM said they tested 3316 people for the virus out of which 804 tested positive. He said out of the total, 597 were reported from Karachi, 37 from Hyderabad, 23 from Larkana and other districts.
