The District Development Committee has approved the implementation of 86 development schemes of roads, local government, WASA, highways and Fesco at a cost of Rs 308 million.
A meeting of the District Development Committee chaired by Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali. A briefing was given by the Department of Development and Planning on the technical and administrative aspects of various development schemes.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance Asma Ejaz Cheema, officers of WASA, roads and other departments were present in the meeting. Assessing the regional requirement and fidelity of the scheme, Deputy Commissioner said that expeditious departmental steps should be taken on the schemes approved during the meeting so that they could be completed expeditiously.
