Islamic Presidential System (IPS) is trending on twitter in Pakistan on Friday. The IPS trend gets over 38000 tweets in few hours. @Maaya said that "We stand for implementation of Presidential system. @Du~De said that it became necessary to get rid of this rotten system.
Another user said that present system creates class system in each sector. Meanwhile, one user Arman shared PM Imran Khan's views on presidential system aired on private news channel last year where Imran Khan termed presidential system better than parliamentary system.
Coincidentally, a day before this IPS trend on Twitter, a new political party "Hum Awam Pakistan (HAP)" with a slogan to establish an IPS in the country has been launched.
The launching ceremony was held at Karachi Press Club (KPC) where chairman HAP Tahir Aziz said that the government had failed to deliver as per people expectation. While announcing the new political party at KPC, chairman Tahir Aziz gave a month deadline to the incumbent government to resign otherwise they would announce future strategy.
Secretary General Muhammad Arshad said that for the last seventy years, political parties had not taken any steps to solve common man issues, adding that the idea of forming a new political party had come for the low of our beloved country and to serve its people.
He said that after 20 years, the PTI came to power but they also had no plan and doing nothing and added that in less than two months, they had gathered educated peoples and formed a political party and 80 percent of work had been completed. He also asked the government to immediate removal of Qadianis from their positions otherwise the next course of action would be announced in a month.
