‘Caught in Flight,’ a biopic documenting the last two years of Princess Diana’s life, has been re-named ‘Diana’, as Producers work to shy away from controversy.
According to media sources the movie focuses around Diana’s humanitarian causes and her ascent to one of the most renowned and well-loved philanthropists of our time. The film also highlights her successes as well as elements of her personal life.
The film also highlights Diana’s relationships, one of which was believed to have been with Hasnat Khan, a British-Pakistani surgeon.
‘Diana’ is Directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel, best known for the Oscar-nominated Hitler drama ‘Downfall’. It is produced under the banner of Ecosse Films.
The character of Princess Diana is being portrayed by Oscar-nominated actress Naomi Watts, while the role of Hasnat Khan is being played by British Actor Naveen Andrews, alongside Douglas Hodge and Juliet Stevenson.
The movie is scheduled for released sometime in 2013.
