KARACHI: Brad Pitt’s mother Jane, who recently published a controversial letter to a local newspaper criticizing the Obama administration and supporting anti-gay campaigns, has since received a number of death threats.

Pitt discuss the controversial letter in an open forum, urging people to vote for Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Roomney, who she described as being a "family man" with "high morals."

Pitt further went on to call the American President “a liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage,” and requested prayerful consideration from fellow Christians as they select who they vote for in November’s upcoming elections.

Twitter and other social mediums have criticized her views, with several Twitter posts calling for her apparent death.

Pitt’s to-be daughter in-law Angelina Jolie, who supports same sex marriages doesn’t appear too happy her open letter publication, and reportedly asked her fiancé Brad to further educate his mother on the issue.

According to American media sources, “If Brad won’t do it, Angelina will have to take matters into her own hands and talk to Jane about how, as the mother of such a prominent celebrity, she shouldn't be writing letters that clash with her son’s personal opinions.”
