KARACHI: Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj and Black Eyed Peas member Fergie are all in the running for a judge seat in next season’s American Idol.

According to sources, meetings are being set up to see who can get in. There is news show Producer Nigel Lythgoe has showed interest in getting Charlie Sheen a hot seat. Also in the running are Adam Lambart and Will.i.am.

Producers wanted Jennifer Lopez to return on show as a judge but she has hinted that she might not continue with this season’s show. “I don’t know if I can go for a third year. I miss doing other things,” she said.

Show producers are looking for a suitable replacement for Lopez. However, it is believed that producers want to add some younger blood to the series to compete with X-factor that recently cast Britney Spears and pop star Demi Lovato.
