KARACHI: Saif Ali Khan responded to Critics by saying that “he is still 30 at heart.”
According to media sources, critics have labelled Khan ‘old’ in his latest release “Cocktail”, where he stars opposite Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty.
But after landing in Mumbai last night, the Actor/Producer was quick to offer his rebuttal and said, "Frankly I am not connected with critics."
Sources have added that according to Khan, his character in the movie is appropriate for his age. "In fact, I look forward to playing similar roles in the future. At least for the next 10 years," he added.
"I think I look 35 at most. Certainly not 42, my real age," he told media. "If you work and exercise the way I do, 40 is pretty young an age to be a hero in films."
Khan has revealed he is happy with the Box Office opening of Cocktail, but the star was quick to point out that, "these are early days to really get down to counting the box office figures. But the way it is adding up, I must say that the look of the film built a lot of aura around it. I think we have pulled it off."
