KARACHI: Sylvester Stallone’s nephew Edd Filiti claims the star is to blame for his son Sage’s death. The nephew of the Rocky franchise, made claims via Facebook saying that Stallone had barred Sage from his life which led to his eventual downfall.

“What did he do wrong, say happy birthday,” Filiti wrote. “Neither you (Stallone’s wife Jennifer Flavin) or he could return a phone call, which is all he wanted, his father. I know you don’t care what happened, but you’ll care when you’re squirming under the burning magnifying glass of public opinion.”

In his Facebook rant, Filiti was particularly critical of Stallone’s wife Jennifer Flavin. “Jennifer, I’m glad your stepmother workload has lessened, one less member of the family to keep away, one less distraction,” he added.

Filiti blasted the actor, blaming him for continually neglecting his 36-year-old son, who was found dead at his Hollywood Hills home on Friday from an apparent overdose. His reported claims have since been removed from his Facebook page.
