KARACHI: The Queen of Pop Madonna has been involved in a controversy over her upcoming performance in Warsaw, Poland.
According to media sources, the protestors from a Catholic Youth group are protesting her upcoming concert because it falls on the same day as the country's annual World War Two Remembrance Day.
Sources said the Pop Star will tour Poland from the 1st of August, a time when Polish residents traditionally observe a minutes silence in memory of the lives lost in the 1944 Warsaw Uprising against the Nazi occupation, resulting in the loss of approximately 200,000 lives.
Sources added the Religious activists from the group ‘Youth Crusade’ has demanded to put a stop to the show.
According to sources, Madonna has reportedly also canceled Australian leg of her tour.
