KARACHI: Sylvester Stallone’s former wife Sacha Czack suspects that painkiller overdose is the cause of her son Sage’s death.

The 36-year-old star who was found dead in his apartment in Los Angeles last week, had reportedly had a dental surgery two weeks pror to his death.

Stallone’s heartbroken mother, in her first public statement since his tragic demise, said that he was suffering from severe pain after he had five teeth pulled and was likely taking powerful painkillers.

She said that she warned him against the procedure but he underwent it anyway. “I told him not to do that. I’ve heard about people dying having multiple procedures done to your mouth.”

Investigators say that accidental overdose may be the cause of Stallone’s death however, the toxicology report has yet to confirm anything.
