KARACHI: Jennifer Lopez wants Bono, Jon Bon Jovi or The Rolling Stones frontman Sir Mick Jagger to succeed her on “American Idol”.
The singer announced she was leaving the show after two series last week, and thinks they should target a huge rockstar.
When asked who should take her place on the show, she said, “I think Bono or Bon Jovi or Mick Jagger. You know me, I think big.”
Lopez also said she was inspired to leave the show. For which she was reportedly paid $15 million to appear, by the departure of co-judge Steven Tyler, who is now concentrating on his music with his band Aerosmith.
“We had magic. I don’t know, with him gone, it might be a different formula,” she added.
While Jennifer is leaving the reality show’s judging panel, she hasn’t ruled out being a part of the show in the future, and could still return as a guest performer or mentor.
