Nawaz says consultation imminent for broad based govt

Addressing a meeting held to review party's performance and re-organisational matters here, he said, the coming elections would be of great significance and time would clarify the fact who would give tough time to whom.

"Everybody will know his worth in the next elections," he added.

Nawaz Sharif said, his party always advocated local bodies elections. He was of the opinion that local bodies polls could be held ahead of the general elections.

He flayed former President Pervez Musharraf for destroying local bodies system to accomodate his blue-eyed.

The PML-N Chief said, the Constitution stood supreme and one should have reservation on it. He said, workers were asset for the party and their suggestions were supreme. He made it clear that party tickets would only be awarded on merit and in consultation with the workers.
