Reports are doing the rounds that film’s Director Shrish Kunder is in talks with NASA officials to screen his film ‘Joker’ in outer space.

Kunder reportedly wants space screening for Indian-origin astronaut Sunita Williams who is currently working at the International Space Station (ISS).

According to media sources, “UTV-Disney is trying to sort out the procedure to uplink the film from NASA so that the astronauts can watch it there. And, the producers plan to release the film on the space station a day after its release in India.”

Kunder is hopeful that he would be granted permission and the necessary equipment for the special screening to let Williams watch his film about aliens and Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs).

Shikha Kapur, an official at film’s Production house UTV-Disney said, “For Joker, we have many out-of-the-box ideas and they are all at the planning stage. We can’t disclose anything so early.”

The story of Joker involves a UFO from space, aliens and a NASA scientist played by Akshay Kumar. The film is slated to release on August 31.
