KARACHI: The renowned novelist of Harry potter JK Rowling has decided to build a 40 feet high, two storey Hogwarts-style tree houses for her children in the back garden of her Edinburgh mansion.

According to the media reports, the architectural design for this luxury house is prepared by “Blue Forest UK”. The tree houses are estimated to cost approximately 150,000 pounds.

Reports added that the tree tower would only be structure with timber from sustainable managed forests. Each wooden tree house is to be built on stilts and boasts balconies, carvings and turrets that wouldn't look out of place in a Potter adventure.

Tree houses will be connected by a rope bridge and can be approached by a secret tunnel hidden underneath a raised wooden walkway.

Rowling lives in Edinburgh mansion along with her husband Dr Neil Murray and children.

She bought this mansion in 2009 when she reportedly fell in love with it after viewing just two of its 31 rooms.
