According to the media sources, it is believed that the project will be an autobiographical one based on the life of Akhtar siblings.

Sources added, "The film is not really a blow-by-blow account of Farhan and Zoya's growing up years. It is a very sensitive script and is based on siblings. Only it draws liberally on some of the emotional conflicts and the bonding instances in Zoya and Farhan's real life."

Speaking about the project Kareena Kapoor said that she is very excited about the project and eagerly waiting for Akhtar to complete the script.

She added, “I'm constantly in touch with her. It's a terrific script, and I'm dying to work with Ranbir.”

Another source said that although Kareena is two year older than Ranbir and the Akhtar siblings are a year apart but they are amongst the first names that come to mind for such project.
