KARACHI: Auto manufacturing brand Aston Martin has thrown its hat into the bicycle ring with the launch of the One-77 super-bike.
Dubbed as the ‘world’s most technologically advanced bike,’ the One-77 was inspired by the firm’s £1 million flagship supercar.
The state-of-the-art ‘super cycle’ has an onboard electronic touch-screen display, details 100 items of information including speed, power, temperature, rate of climb.
It also measures respiration rate, ECG and core body temperature.
The high-tech bike also features a Bluetooth connection to share data with smartphones and other gadgets.
The One-77 has been designed by British engineering firm Factor which mostly develops parts for the aviation and motorsports industries including Formula 1.
The super-bike was launched earlier this month and has thus far received four orders from Japan, Australia, and Brazil.
The limited-edition One-77 is one of the world’s most expensive bikes costing an estimated £25,000.
