Inam, a wild-card entrant to the Games will be Pakistan’s lone shooter at the event. With his appearance in the Games he will become the first Pakistani athlete to feature in three Olympics in individual competitions.
Inam is accompanied by his manager Javed Lodhi who is also the National Rifle Association of Pakistan Secretary.
About his performance the Pakistani shooter says, “I am in a good frame of mind and acclimatizing with the conditions. It’s a great feeling but achieving my best score here in London Olympics will make this occasion special for me. The environment here is great. But it was important how quickly you adjust in the conditions in this precision sport.”
The skeet competition whose preliminary rounds are scheduled for July 30 and 31 will see as many as 36 shooters from 25 countries competing for the gold.
