According to media sources, Korea gains a remarkable success in women’s team Archery at Lord’s Cricket Ground. The country proves to be successful in every Olympic Game since 1988.
Gold medalists of Korea Hyeonju Choi, Bobae Ki and Sung Jin Lee defeated Chinese trio Cheng Ming, Fang Yuting and Xu Jing by 210-209.
Sources added that the last arrow by Ki decided for the match. Ki was in need of at least nine to secure gold medal.
Speaking to the media Ki said, “Lee shot the first arrow because she is the brave one and I shot the last because one I have more experience.”
“I wasn't nervous at all because if I do my best I know it will go in the gold,” she added.
Team China has finished in the silver medal position behind the Koreans and the bronze medal was won by Japan.
