The scent is a part of the 50th Anniversary of James Bond; it will coincide with the new movie Skyfall, the 23rd movie in the British spy franchise.
The James Bond aftershave is inspired by the 60s and in addition to notes of apple and sandalwood, it will have a retro feel, the media reported.
Bill Brace, vice president of fashion brands for P&G Prestige, that is housing the
fragrance, said “The aromatic feugere fragrance family came to prominence in the 60s - it
was unmistakably masculine - mossy and ferny.”
"But that was a while ago, so we wanted to move it on and give it a much more modern and
sophisticated shell, which is why there's fresh apple, cardamom, sandalwood and vetiver,"
Brace added.
To make it more interesting, the bottle looks like it was made in the secret labs of MI6.
Although currently marketed for men, it is reported that a women’s perfume may also be in
process.
