According to sources, Khanna has named his daughters Twinkle Khanna and Rinke Khanna to be the owners of his property which includes his bungalow Ashirwad, bank accounts, and other assets while there was no mention of Dimple Kapadia in his will.
Khanna had reportedly made a will just a few weeks before his death on July 18.
The will was read out in the presence of his daughters, estranged wife Dimple Kapadia, son-in-law Akshay Kumar, close friends and family doctor Dileep Walvekar. The entire process was also shot on camera.
Khanna and Kapadia separated in 1984 but never formally divorced. Though the couple were not in talking terms, Kapadia took care of the late superstar through his long illness and took part in all last rites including immersing Khanna’s ashes in the river Ganges.
