KARACHI: Recently, Actor Brad Pitt has been nicknamed as “Snake Charmer” by his fellow members.

According to media sources, Pitt has been shooting for his new project titled “Twelve Years a Slave” in Louisiana.

The movie set includes nearby marshes which are occupied by snakes and Pitt being brave captured three of them.

Sources added, "Brad's cast mates, who are all petrified of slithery reptiles, have nicknamed him 'Snake Charmer' because he's captured three of the water snakes."

Pitt said that he has learned how to catch big snakes using a special pole and a burlap bag.

“Besides capturing snakes, he has helped reconstructing New Orleans houses after Hurricane Katrina - and that's when he came face to face with dozens of the scaly creatures,” added by a source.

Twelve years a slave cast features Brad Pitt along with Michael Fassbender and Paul Giamatti.

The movie is expected to be released sometime in 2013.
