According to media sources, the project was previously scheduled to be released on December 25 of this year, but now Warner Bros. pictures and Village Roadshow moved the release date to summer 2013.

Great Gatsby is based on a world class novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald of same name. The movie is directed by Baz Luhrmann.

The movie cast features DiCaprio, along with Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan and Joel Edgerton.
