Pakistan beat New Zealand to face India in Quarter Final of U-19 World Cup

Pakistan realized triumph over New Zealand by five wickets, after managing to chase down their total of 152 runs in the 32nd over. Henry Walsh scored highest with 33 runs. Pakistan used five bowlers from whom Ehsan Adil and Zia-ul-Haq chalked up two wickets each.

From Pakistan Iman-ul-Haq and Saad Ali scored 40 and 32 runs respectively as Pakistan strolled to the five-wicket victory in 31.2 overs.

Pakistan has to face India in the Quarter Final match to be held on Monday 20th August.

There are high possibilities of Pakistan winning this match too as the statistics go in favor of Pakistan. Pakistan has won all matches up till now in this tournament, while on the other hand India has faced the defeat in the tournament. Pakistan is playing as the defending champion of the trophy. Pakistan & India’s U-19 Teams had played against each other during World Cups six times & five times Pakistan has won the match.

Pakistan have won all three matches of Group B and are one of the favorites to win the World Cup.

Despite the loss New Zealand will still go through to the quarter-finals where they will face the West Indies.
