KARACHI: “Fight Club” Director David Fincher, who was planning to remake “Cleopatra”, starring Angelina Jolie has recently decided to walk out from the project.

According to media sources, Fincher is one of the gigantic names that were associated with “Cleopatra”. Previously, James Cameron of “Titanic” and Director Paul Greengrass of "Bourne Ultimatum" left the project for signing other “Avatar” movies.

Previously, speaking to media Fincher said, "That's something I would love to do with Angie."

"It's something that was brought to me that you have to take seriously,” added by him.
Sources added that Jolie is interested in the project since 2010. She found it irritating that one by one Directors are leaving the project.

Actress Jolie, at present is busy with her upcoming movie “Maleficent”, which is expected to be released in 2014.
