During the meeting which lasted for about an hour, the Chief Secretary also briefed the Governor on PPP parliamentarian Shaukat Basra case, assuring that victimization will not be allowed in the case.    Later, Former Chairman Senate, barrister Wasim Sajjad also called on the Punjab Governor.

The overall political situation in the country came under discussion during the meeting.
