KARACHI: Pakistan Navy will observe the Pakistan Day with traditional zeal and fervour.
A Navy statement here on Tuesday said that the day will dawn with a 21 gun salute.
Special prayers will be offered in all mosques at PN units after Namaz-e-Fajr.
To pay homage to the Father of the Nation, a wreath laying ceremony will be held at Mazar-e-Quaid.
Senior representatives from three services will lay wreath and offer Fateha.
Pakistan Navy ships and units will be decorated and illuminated to mark the day as a great national event.
On this occasion, PN has also organized an impressive ceremony of granting last wish of seriously ill children, at Manora. To make the last moment of their life memorable, the young wishers will be dressed up in Naval uniform and have the opportunity to visit PN ships and hovercrafts.
Commander Coast Vice Admiral Tayyab Ali Dogar will be the chief guest on the occasion.
People from all walks of life will also be there to boost the morale of these young soldiers fighting the battle of their lives.
