Speaking as a chief guest at the parents' day, Gen Kayani said that the litmus test of any institution laid in its contribution to the society over the years.
He said that the development of character, discipline and intellectual capacity must remain top priorities in the grooming of future leaders at institutions like Military College Jhelum.
According to ISPR, highlights of the occasion comprised smart and agile displays of march past, PT, gymnastics, martial arts and riding skills by the cadets, as well as an exhibition of their craftsmanship in both arts and science projects.
