KARACHI: After the success of “Barfi”, Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Basu will join hands once again to make a biopic on the life of legendary playback singer, actor, director and composer Kishore Kumar, reported the Indian media.

According to sources, Ranbir will require at least six moths of preparation and more than one year to shoot the most difficult role of his career up till now.

Ranbir will have to portray three looks as he is going to play Kishore Kumar from the age of 19 till 58. He also has to put on around 12 to 15 kgs to play the older role of Kishore.

Four heroines may be finalized opposite Ranbir considering that Kishore had 4 wives.

His son, Amir Kumar will be associated and closely involved at every stage to provide inputs for the film and will also sing few Kishore’s songs, sources said.

The script is almost complete, but the movie is still untitled and it will be produced by UTV. Anurag Basu is really excited and looking forward to the success of the movie.

According to Basu, he feels lucky to make a biopic of the legendary singer who was full of life and color. It is going to be a very entertaining film, the Indian media reported.
