KARACHI: A recent report claimed that Shahrukh Khan is very keen to cast Priyanka Chopra in Farah Khan's upcoming venture "Happy New Year" despite opposition from his wife Gauri and close friend Karan Johar's disapproval.
But Khan has trashed these reports and the actor took to Twitter to vent his anger.
Shahrukh Khan wrote on Twitter, "When a person's words & body language are in conflict they are usually lying. A lot like the headline words of tabloids & their body of content..." and "Most of the time ppl don't want to get to know you, instead they want to tell you, who they think you are. Let them maintain their fictions about you."
Following Khan's tweet Farah Khan also reacted angrily and tweeted "Every morning I get up and read some made up crap about HNY...when the 'journos' have decided who our leading lady will be kindly inform us too!"
Not only SRK and Farah, even Priyanka Chopra tagged SRK in her tweet and wrote, "Agreed!! @iamsrk ! And btw! I guess it's only cause fiction is so much more interesting na? haha! Hope shoots going super!(sic)"
Looks like the trio had had enough and finally decided to take the matter in their own hands clearing the air about such reports directly on Twitter.
