The apex court has said that the contempt of court notice against the MQM chief was withdrawn as he has rendered an unconditional apology to the SC.

In response, Altaf Hussain said that he has always respected the judiciary, adding, he cannot even consider disrespecting the judiciary.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, in his statement, also said that Altaf Hussain is also a respected figure.
