MQM-P announces not to change party name, flag, symbol

KARACHI: Muttahida Quami Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has announced not to change its name, party flag and electoral symbol.

MQM-P Rabita Committee in a meeting here reposed confidence on their leader Dr. Farooq Sattar but said the party would not change its name, flag and symbol.

After the meeting, MQM-P leader Kanwar Naveed Jamil told the media that they would not go for electoral alliance for the seat they have already won. He said previous day, Dr. Farooq Sattar had only talked about an electoral alliance.

He said however, they would contest the next polls on the seat won in this tenure with their party symbol of ‘kite’.
