A number of Pakistani players, including stars such as Saeed Ajmal and Imran Khan, have arrived in the country after they were left deserted in Uganda, Africa.

According to Ajmal, they were involved in a pay dispute with the Afro T20 Cricket League organizers and thus decided to return to back home. "The organiser wasn't paying us and we insisted for our payments as per the contractual agreement," said Ajmal, quoted ESPNcricinfo.

"But he deserted us with a promise that he is going to Dubai to arrange payments and will return but he hasn't and we decided to return in protest. Our return tickets were blocked and we had informed Uganda Cricket Association and with some pressure we managed to rebook our return flight for December 21,” he added.

The players, however, didn’t face any other issue in Uganda as they were in touch with the Pakistan consulate.

Several Pakistani players including domestic stars Mukhtar Ahmed, Hasan Raza and others were scheduled to participate in the tournament.
