Shadab Khan wins hearts despite Pakistan’s defeat
Pakistan leg spinner Shadab Khan honed his skills as a genuine all-rounder against New Zealand, despite the team's 5-0 whitewash Down Under on Friday.
Green Shirts lost their final ODI encounter against the Black Caps. This was the third whitewash suffered by Pakistan in ODI cricket, the Men in Green suffered a similar fate in 2010 at the hands of Australia.
However, Shadab Khan has emerged as the silver lining from what has been a disastrous tour. He was the third highest scorer for Pakistan with 140 runs, including two fifties. He also picked up five wickets, added with top notch fielding display, Shadab is a find of the tournament for the Green Shirts.
Fans applauded the youngster for his all round skills and were optimistic that Shadab would continue with his good work in the future tours.
Again he showed he had great head on shoulder well played @76Shadabkhan

So @76Shadabkhan ends the NZ ODI series as the third highest scorer for Pakistan, joint most 50s, the best econ rate among frontline Pak bowlers & we all know how good his fielding was.

Shadab Khan vs NZ
- 3rd most runs for Pakistan.
- Lowest Economy Rate.
- Easily the best fielder for them. The only player to have come out with their reputation enhanced after this series.
