Company launches iPhone X clone with Samsung's name
Though few smartphones have surfaced that copied Apple iPhone X’s famous top notch design, a smartphone company has taken a step further by openly copying the notch design as well as copying Samsung’s S9’s name.
A smartphone manufacturer Leagoo demonstrated its smartphone at the MWC 2018 that took Samsung’s name and Apple’s design. Called Leagoo S9, the phone costs only $150 and contains 5.85-inch HD+ IPS notch display. They even promoted their phone as the ‘World’s First Android iPhone X’.

The phone also contains ‘Face Access’ feature just like iPhone X’s Face ID. The other specs are more or less similar to the normal smartphones such as Android Oreo, rear fingerprint sensor, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, 3,300mAh battery. When compared to the iPhone X, it has 3GB RAM with 2,716mAh battery life, making its clone more powerful than the original phone, reported Tech Juice. It also released a plus size variant of the phone that it called Leagoo S9 Pro.
Moreover, as DNA India reports, a leaked image of Oppo R15, which was first spotted by Chinese website Weibo, showed the similarity of the upcoming phone to iPhone X with small top notch design.
