Pictures: After Sridevi’s death, step son Arjun tries to bring family back together
After the sudden demise of superstar actress Sridevi last month, step son Arjun Kapoor has been trying his level best to bring the family back together.
Although Arjun had always shared the bitter truth about his relationship with father Boney’s second wife Sridevi and their children Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor. However, it seems like the ‘Gunday’ actor is trying to heal the wounds from his past by bringing back his family together.
Recently, Arjun invited not just his father but also his step sisters Janhvi and Khushi at his home for a get together. The actor took some time out of his extremely busy work schedule just for his family, amid reports that Arjun has been working nonstop for almost 18 hours a day to finish his upcoming movie ‘Namaste England’ on schedule.
A source told informed Bollywood Life, “Arjun had to take leave for about seven days to be beside his dad and family. He had to ensure everyone was doing okay. Arjun knew that the entire production crew was waiting in Punjab for him and he had to finish off a week’s backlog as soon as he hits the sets. He spoke to Vipul Shah [the director of the movie] and informed him that he will be doing 18-hour shifts to make up for lost time!”
On work front, Arjun is gearing up to promote his next, ‘Panipat’ with Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon, the teaser poster of which is out already. He is also shooting for ‘Namaste England’ with Parineeti Chopra.
