MUZAFFARABAD: The cabinet development committee (CDC) of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Wednesday approved 5 projects worth Rs 1.444 billion for different projects.

Projects including construction of Tehsil headquarter Hospital at Mang in Poonch district, water supply scheme, widening and up gradation of 25 kilometers roads in Mirpur city, reconditioning and up gradation of Trarkhal - Baloch road and Choota Gala to Poonch University road.

The committee met here with Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan in the chair and was participated by senior minister Chaudhry Tariq Farooq, Minister Law Raja Nisar Ahmad Khan, Minister public works and communication Ch. Muhammad Aziz, Minister Finance Dr. Najeeb Naqi, Minister Information Raja Mushtaq Mehnas, Minister Forest Sardar Mir Akbar Khan, Minister education Barrister Iftikhar Gilani Minister sport Ch. Saeed and Minister Rehabilitation Nasar Dar.

Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan while addressing the meeting said that India was breaching ceasefire on line of control (LOC) consistently which he termed as an aggression against the people of Azad Kashmir and directed the administration to help affected masses by Indian shelling across LOC.

He said the people living along side LOC will not be left alone and his government will provide every assistance to them in any emergency. He directed chief secretary and other concern official to pay visits to such areas and said he will himself visit the areas alongside LOC to review the difficulties of masses.

He said some anti state elements were involved in baseless propaganda against armed forces of Pakistan and government will leave no stone unturned to eliminate such elements who were sending wrong message to the other side of LOC.
