Sindh Minimum Wages Board proposes increase in minimum rates of wages

KARACHI: The Sindh Minimum Wages Board has proposed an increase in minimum rates of wages from Rs.15000 to Rs.16,200 per month with effect from July 01, 2018 in respect of adult unskilled and juvenile workers in industrial / commercial undertakings in the Province of Sindh.

This has already been notified in Extra-ordinary Gazette of Sindh Government issued on July 9, 2018, said a statement on Thursday.

It is therefore advised that the objections / suggestions, if any, may be sent within 30 days by August 10, 2018.
