Huawei mocks Apple by giving free power banks to iPhone customers in lines

Samsung is not the only rival that continuously mocks Apple, as Huawei too has now joined the race in trolling Apple by offering free Huawei power banks and ‘Apple-free’ drinks to people waiting outside Apple stores.

Samsung has usually been mocking iPhone only through ads, but Huawei took it to the next level by trolling the rival in a unique way. iPhone lovers have been waiting in long queues outside the Apple store to get their hands on the newly launched iPhone, this is where Huawei came in.

Huawei representatives handed out free power banks to those people, the box of which read, “Here’s a power bank. You’ll need it. Courtesy of Huawei.” To fans waiting overnight for the iPhone XS. The tagline simply pointed out to the fact that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has better battery life than the Cupertino smartphone manufacturer’s.

Not only the free power bank giveaways, Huawei also set up a juice bar with a tagline, “Ju%ce that lasts,” followed with a hashtag of #higherintelligence. Not to mention the juice van also has a small crossed out picture of Apple where it served selection of drinks, none of which contained ‘no traces of Apple’. The van also has charging points, again hinting at a better battery life than Apple’s new phone, wrote Mirror.

Huawei is supposed to release its new Huawei Mate 20 this October 16, a phone that might the better battery life and ‘higher AI intelligence’. Huawei also recently surpassed Apple to be the second largest smartphone manufacturer, pushing Apple down to third place.
