Despite reports of its low overall iPhone sales, Apple has said that one of its latest iPhones, the iPhone XR proved to be its top-selling phone till yet.

In a recent interview with CNET, Apple Vice President of Product Marketing Greg Joswiak said that the latest iPhone XR has been their most popular iPhone ‘each and every day since the day it became available’, however, he did not give any specific figure.

Since the 2019 iPhones’ launch, it is the first official word from the firm as to how the phones were performing in the market. The comment comes in amid the reports of Apple’s latest iPhones not performing well, and thus Apple turning to its last year’s iPhone X re-manufacturing.

Apple resumes producing iPhone X after weaker sales of XS, XS Max

As per Mashable, Joswiak seems to be saying that the iPhone XR has outsold the iPhone XS and XS Max, and probably the older models too, since its launch date on October 26. The iPhone XR is Apple’s ‘budget-friendly’ phone costing $749, and featuring almost all of the features as its expensive brothers, the iPhone XS for $999 and XS Max for $1,099, include.

However, while the XR might be outselling the others, there is no certain report if overall iPhone sales are down or not. Apple has previously announced that it would no longer release specific sales figures for its iPhones and other major devices.
