Pakistani passport ranked third worst globally once again
Placed at 91st place in the Global Passport Power Rank 2018, Pakistani passport has been once again ranked as the third worst performing passports in the world.
In the list issued by Passport Index, Pakistani passport is the third worst performing with its passport holders being able to travel to only eight countries visa-free and getting visa on arrival in 27 countries. A Pakistani passport holder will have to apply for visa and go through a long process to get visa in 163 countries.
Meanwhile, Pakistan's neighbor India has been ranked 66 and its passport holders can travel to 25 countries visa-free. Pakistan's western neighbor Iran has achieved 42nd spot on the list with its citizens able to travel visa-free to 12 countries.
Only two more countries have fared worst in the list compared to Pakistan. Afghanistan has been placed on the last spot while Iraq has been ranked second last worst.
Pakistani passport ranked third worst in the world
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) passport has been named the strongest passport and ranked first in the global Passport Index. A UAE passport holder can travel to 113 countries visa-free and get visas from 54 countries upon arrival. While, UAE passport holder will need to apply for visa for only 31 countries. Similarly, Singapore and Germany ranks second and third respectively.
In another similar ranking, Pakistan passport was also named third worst and placed at 104 spot in the Henley Passport Index 2018. According to the list, the country's passport holders could travel to 33 destinations visa-free.
