Now, reportedly makers have been planning another sequel of the popular franchise. “We are planning to do 'Welcome 3' and 'Welcome 4' back-to-back. We will start shooting soon. The actors will remain the same - John, Anil, Nana, Paresh Bhai. The third one will be directed by Ahmed Khan,” a source close to the to the filmmakers told PTI.

This time the film will have a lot of action along with comedy. “We will have fun and stylised action, like how it was in Mission Impossible series. So, there will be laughter and action both,” source added.

The third and fourth installment of ‘Welcome’ will hit theatres in 2020 and 2021 respectively.
